Kamal clearly says that he is not against GOD nor does he say that he denies the existent of GOD but instead says that he prefers GOD to exist at present (something to clear the speculation off the air).

Lastly, not to forget the ending part which not only brings sense into the story but also the reality and a few important points for all of us to understand. Special mention must be made for the tsunami effect in the climax! The direction, action and editing are done perfectly! The 12th century graphic scenes like flames, under water, etc are awesome and are joy to watch! Only a few scenes were disappointing and looked very much fake as in when they show the 12th century island from a bird's eye view and the Fletcher's escape sequence through Copter when Yuki tries to throw the bomb back at them. The cut sequences where variety of Kamal meet are awesome and we can't find any difference. But no harm done, still they have performed well like we students do in any mock-up cultural events. The other characters are just too boring or having plastic make-ups. The characters which I loved the most are: Rangaraja Nambi, Balaram Naidu, Govindarajan Ramaswamy, George Bush, Christian Fletcher, Vincent Poovaragan and Shingen Narahashi.
Tsunami in dasavatharam movie#
Secondly, the characters played by Kamal are worth more than adulation! When seeing the movie we tend to forget that it is Kamal, instead a real person who is performing his own lively incidents. These actions causes damages to the Eco System and affects people life in a ripple effect. We are knowingly or unknowingly affecting our Nature's balance by slaughtering Animals, cutting down trees, polluting the space, smuggling sand (one of the main issues highlighted in Dasavatharam), etc. The Universal Hero then goes about the character and shows how difficult it is for good people to survive in this world and how money, politics and power influence people (both good and bad). These two aspects are hard to digest but thats the reality and I am sure many people would condemn even such a thought. The reality of the saying is experienced in real world today - China's earthquake, Tsunami in Tamil nadu etc. He intervenes by saying that all the world affairs are interconnected and that somewhere some disaster is because of some other's action (negativism view, hence the chaos theory). So he continues explaining how a butterfly effect and the story are interrelated. But trust me, Kamal has tried his best to explain what is what!! The theme as far as I understood revolves around Newton's III Law but Kamal claims in his dialogue initially that a Scientists job has got some connections with the Chaos Theory, Butterfly Effect for example. There are many pluses and minuses that can come out of this movie, but in the end the pluses overshadow the minuses.įirst of all the theme with which the story revolves is mind-blowing and difficult for a layman to understand. The concept around which this movie revolves is really excellent and Kamal has once again touched our hearts through controversial aspects of life. Having watched this movie twice, I think it is still worth watching this movie again.
